ESCAPE- A JOURNEY

Our is just a journey which we all are supposed to travel, some paths are straight, some with numerous bends yet every path is taking us not to a particular destination but to major and minor stations which we conclude as the destination. It’s been 20 years of my life and I am here still confused and find myself lost many times. It seems as if the path I am traveling is not the one I was supposed to be on, rather it’s a total freaking ESCAPE. Yes, you heard it right, the course which opted is just an ESCAPE ROUTE, which I decided to travel only when I found myself on the path of my life where I could not think anything rationally. On one side, I found myself in a ceaseless abyss of total confusion, while on the other hand, I could not muster up enough courage to confront my father that I did not want to drop one year to go for engineering coaching.
So with a confused mind, I found a new path emerging in front of me. Finding no other better option, at last, I chose that path and, now I am somewhere pursuing Something which I did never think would be my destiny or luck or whatever name you would like to give this sudden turn of events in my life. It was a new path for me, and it somehow changed my life to a great extent. I learned a lot, I laughed, cried, made friends, lost some, and believe me this all was worth. I am glad that this path emerged in my life, even after knowing that this path might not be leading me to a goal I might have set for my life but, it did help me grow mentally.
Thinking all this, basking under the winter sun, I got a sudden urge to write all this…..
1. The very first thought or a pang of realization hit me was that there will be such confused, lost conditions in the journey of life, and we all genuinely have either one of these two options to chose:
a) Choosing a path we wanted to chose or we think might be the one leading us to the destination we think we want, or
b) Being ignorant to the path we might want to travel and thus choosing a path that might prove to be an escape to your current situation.
So if we do look closely, we will notice some people claim that they have their destination decided beforehand. This might sound like some sort of achievement, like Dude you got all planned out, while I am all confused as fuck and choosing a path which might lead me somewhere which even I am unaware of.
But it ain’t the reality of life. If we look closely out of 100 only 10 will be pursuing what they thought of the very beginning. This whole journey for me till now came up with numerous diversions and, I realized that it’s only up to us to decide the route for our journey. Many find a new route which doesn’t take them to the pre-decided destination, yet they find themselves happy, enjoying at a station which might lead them to a lot happier and beautiful journey ahead which who knows if he might have achieved if he did opt the pre-decided route.
Like in my case, I did never think that I might be pursuing architecture, in Chandigarh, and will be writing this .lol! I am at that point of my journey where the route is yet to be explored, or I think I am waiting for a diversion or a bent where I might be choosing a route that might lead me to a beautiful journey or a dreadful one. But I will be ready for both cause it’s our life, our journey and, it will go on no matter what. Thus staying positive and hoping for a better tomorrow, enjoy the journey. As it’s said-
